Protank 3 flavour wicks

So when taking apart a coil for my protank 3 to clean I looked up YouTube videos to get a heads up - all said carefully remove the flavour wicks yet the two I got with the tank have no flavour wicks on the top of the coil ! The pack of 5 I had bought a few weeks back all do have them ?
I haven't had any leaking or gurgling but anyone else had this ?

You would normally remove anyway then ?

Personally I'd remove it all and rebuild it from scratch, just experiment mate if your not getting any gurgling (flooding) leave them out, depends on the thickness of your juice I found

Not that confident yet !! Using a 70/30 captain custard mostly but yeah no flooding so all good !

Not found a youtube video for doing protank3 heads, I do evod and protank2 coils without a problem, but not tried doing a dual coil build yet, any pointers to tutorials much appreciated, very tight if the coils can't touch..

No probs, just save all your atomiser heads when there worn out and when your ready buy some kanthal and some cotton watch a few YouTube vids and away you go, that's all I did.

sorry my bad didn't realise you were on about the duel coils, I haven't attempted them myself either, I have a protank3 but run it on the single coil heads.

No worries, single coils built into the protank3 head is easy enough, I really must work out doing the dual coils, I should take a new one apart as by the time they are all gunky its a bastard to work out how the dual coils sit without shorting.. but I am too tight to trash a new coil lmao..

I didn't think much to the duel coils myself, found a rebuilt 1ohm coil with cotton worked a lot better. Have had my fair share of issues with the protanks though.
