Hello everybody.
Today we have a review of the Rainbow Ego C Twist 1300mah battery. I received this free for review from @sadie22 at http://www.ukecigcabin.com.
You can buy the product here http://www.ukecigcabin.com/product/twist-1300 for £18.99. It comes in various colours including blue, purple, stainless steel and of course rainbow.
First of all i need to say this is not a Joyetech Twist.
The Rainbow Ego C Twist is a variable voltage ego style battery. The battery is a 1300mah size meaning for most of us vapers it will last at least a day but more likely 2 days between charges. Great looking battery in the rainbow colours.
As said it is variable voltage so you can turn the power up or down depending on your personal vape and the e-liquid you are using. Voltage ranges from 3.3v to 4.8v and this is changed by turning a dial at the bottom of the battery. It has both a 510 connection and ego connection meaning all your clearomisers and tanks will fit on this battery.
It has 3 types of battery protection built in, Short Circuit Protection: When short circuit happens, the battery will shut down. The battery won't go back to work until short circuit ends, Atomizer Protection: If you press the button for 10 seconds, the battery will be locked until the next press and Low Voltage Protection: When the battery voltage is lower than 3.3v, the battery will shut down. It has a 5 click of the button to turn the battery both off and on. Size wise the Ego C Twist is not to bad. Not as long as you would think for the 1300mah as they have made it slightly fatter rather than longer. Length 113mm and Diameter 16mm. Below is a picture of it next to a normal 900mah ego battery and a 900mah Vision Spinner.
Although this is not a Joyetech Twist the Rainbow Ego C Twist is a quality battery. The finish on it is great and there is no sign of the finish coming off over the last 3 days and this is all i have been using. The numbers printed on it for the variable voltage are easy to see and the dial is smooth to turn and feels good quality. The button feels good, has a nice click to it and has not missed a beat. I have had this in the truck since yesterday bouncing around, even dropped it yesterday and it is still going strong. No issues with the connection. The Ego C Twist is as good as any of the Vision Spinners i have and is slightly less in price.
If i am honest there are not any bad points. These style of batteries are so simple there is not much to go wrong and the fact it has lasted nearly 2 days in my bouncy truck is a winner for me. For a new vaper the size might be an issue but for a large variable voltage battery it is a great size.
Below is a picture with a Innokin iclear 16 on it.
And with a Smoktech carto tank.
Final thoughts. Great quality, simple to use, easy to see numbers for the variable voltage. Imo the Ego C Twist is a great introduction to variable voltage at an amazing price with a long battery life.
Any questions please feel free to ask.
