A bit big on the real estate (1550B size), but a darn good chip and fun to make :-)

Followed this chaps brill videos » but glad I didn't try fit it into a 1550G !

There's some argument about whether the raptor has reverse battery protection on the chip, but didn't have a P-Fet anyway so left it out. Same goes for those extra capacitors, something about them helping to solve some minor issues (dunno what tho?).

That looks amazing! Great work. I've subscribed to this thread, would love to give this a go.

Not sure if it's just my phone but I couldn't get the link to the video to work.

I'm pretty jealous right now!

it's a bit of a shoebox - shame Hammond don't do a box in between the B and the G.

The chap initially routes the wires from the raptor all going out the top side, then in a later vid some come out the bottom for his G box and an extra one from the '- Sense' post (to LED volt meter) - bit annoying if soldering from the vid cos the wires are best coming out the bottom for the LED, so best to watch all the way through 1st.

Try this for the vid:

Instead of using epoxy to cover the LED I used that sticky tint stuff they use on headlights

Thanks, vid seemed to work. I will check it out in full soon. Having only just achieved a mosfet build in a giant box, and still struggling a bit, this sort of build might be for after another build or two. I must do a bit more 'wax on, wax off' first!

Seriously though, really good work.
