Rattlesnake?

I'm currently using a Zmax v3 which produces a "rattlesnake" effect when activating the unit (it makes the buzz as it pulses the tank).

I've been told that some other mods do this (as I quite like it) but all others I've tried do a smooth pull instead. Can anyone advise what this is really called and name a few decent mods which produce a similar effect?

The buzz is due to the Regulating circuitry using Pulse Width Modulation to change the power output to the coil. Pretty much Every Innokin VW mod will do it, as do the Sigelei, Joyetech and I think the Lavatube

Ahh the old rattlesnake, my vamo does this too and it drove me crazy until I upgraded to a mechanical mod

So are mods better without it. (Having not used any other mod extensively that's not intended to sound dumb!)

its to do with the MHz , all Chinese chips use the same 33.3mhz, provari and DNA are a lot higher MHz and a lot smother vape, its why I use mechs I can't stand pwm vaping
