Hello Vapers,

I have an iStick 30w and i'm wanting to start dripping and using RDA's but I have no clue about anything on the dripping side! Would anyone mind giving me a few tips to start dripping with an RDA?

-What RDA should I purchase?
-What other things to do I need to start dripping?
-Can I even drip with the iStick 30w?!

Many Thanks,
-Bandy.

Noones replied so i'll help u out.

I dont know what ohms the istick will fire down to but the 30W will limit you imho to single coil. Loads of decent higher power mods out there for cheap. Ask around on potv.

RDA? Derringer (fasttech 2106600) good for a newb, good flavour and clouds to be had. I suggest this due to your limited power & cos its a good allround rda that vapes real nice. Blackhack.com also has some i think, cambridge vaping also a good online shop. Many many other good vendors too. Just look around on potv and see where apes are getting kit.

6 wraps 3mm dia 24g kanthal will get you 0.5 ohms single coil. Is a nice warm vape without being too fierce.

Use a 3mm drill bit on which to wrap your coil, and to hold the coil while fitting or get a coiling tool. Or coilmaster V2 kit its all in there.

Preferably get an ohms reader.

24g and 28g kanthal also free muji cotton (stealthvape)

Micro side cutters (ebay). Nail clippers will do.

High VG 3mg nic juice.

Check out steamengine.org

Jewelers screwdrivers

Watch loads of build vids on you tube

Just looked it up the istck will fire down to 0.4ohm but you'll be maxed out.

YouTube is your friend for anyone new to coiling. Riptrippers Grimgreen etc

+1 for the derringer, lovely atty, great flavour, good clouds and you can get a decent clone for about a tenner.

The dezzy is flexible, depending what you like i'd grab some 26g and some 28g wire, gives you the option of lower/higher ohms. You might like a 1 ohm coil at 17 watts.

Aswell as whats been mentioned i'd grab a decent pair of scissor for cutting your wicks and they work well for cutting wire from the spool, snips leave the wire really sharp, scissors leave a dull cut and no poked fingers.

Something to screw your atty to to build on, much better than fighting with your mod/ruining your ohms reader. Poke a hole in a sweet/butter tub and thread your atty into it. Also doubles as a little storage tub for your kit.

Patience.
