RDTA SET ON FIRE?!

So using my limitless plus RDTA put a tiger coil in it two days ago, was working fine and today my coil was making a hissing noise so I took the cap off and fired it up and it set on fire!!
Any idea why this is? I have changed my coils and re-wicked it. I am now using fused alien coil and tried different cotton, worried just incase it happens again. Has anyone else experienced this ?? anyone know how to prevent it from happening again ???

I've had it happen a few times.

It's been when the resistance has jumped and the mod has put too much power to the coil. It's always been because the screws weren't tight enough or had worked loose because of the heat.

Thanks for commenting. So I am okay to carry on using the RDTA? Nothing to worry about regarding the mod ??

It's unlikely, but you can never be 100%.

Just make sure everything is always nicely tightened and your coils are well clear of each other and any metal parts.

Yeah, it's a shock, I vape very tentatively for days afterwards.
