I've been quite happily using ego batteries and vivi Nova tanks-til the last couple of days when I found 2 of my vivi novas are fake and the parts are far from interchangeable, I got in such a mess trying to work out which atomiser fitted which top piece that I left home with just a mini. Dropped the mini on the floor and it all fell apart and the base fell off.
I'm thinking a Kanger protank, would it be worth upgrading the battery too? I don't want anything that looks to extreme as I work in a shop-I'm not even known as a smoker because my previous vice was snus.

Id go with an evod personally . rebuildable too if you are that way inclined.

I quite like my protank. I can't recommend the Evod, having not used one. However, it's got to be worth a go. It basically uses the same coil as the protank but is quite a bit cheaper to buy in the first place. Also, if you are used to Novas, the protank is gonna feel like inhaling fresh air at first. Whilst you can get a hell of a lot of vapour through it at low-ish resistance (1.4 ohm or so), it is so airy sometimes you don't even feel the throat hit.

Thanks, that's really helpful. Having got one of the vivi novas working I'm still not sure. I don't really like the look of the evod but might get one as a backuo, having read about the protank being "airy" and breakable.

Hi
The protank is airy mate but you can easily block of one of the air holes which tightens it up (or can bu a regulator that fits in between the protank and battery for a couple of pounds...think vape escape have them.

That said im not a big fan of the pro tank but thats just me as it really is very well put together although there is a mk 2 on the way that is fully re buildable(including the tank) so might be worth holding out for now

cheers :)

Hi, sabre, they've brought out a protank mini that might look better on the ego. I also use the evods, they are great because they come in different colours, so you can use different flavours in different tanks, so you can change flavours easily. I also use protanks and have just bought an air controller which is brilliant. If I'm honest, I have 7 evods and 4 protanks on the go, but then I do like to change flavours every 1/2 hour or so while I'm at home!!!

I have the Protank & Protank Mini, and cant use them in a working environment as they will smash if dropped, but I really do recommend an eVOD, but not the FastTech ones, get an original Kanger one. Once reqicked, they are truly awesome, I guarantee you, that you wont regret it. Thats my work kit, along with a 900mAh eGo, and have been found that I am using them at home too oops!

Just dont tell anyone ;)

I'm no expert on the full range of options, but I'm not convinced the protank will be very discreet. I've just ordered some little 1ml clearomisers and a small 450mah ego from fasttech to give me a discreet kit for stealth vaping. These clearomisers are certainly not branded, but someone in another thread mentioned a Kanger 1ml clearomiser.

On a side note, Andy, what's wrong with fasttech's Evods? (just ordered a couple of those)

Would also recommend the EVOD, I use one at work, great vape, solid, no leaks, reliable, and being rebuildable it won't break the bank to put a new head on.

i use a itaste vv battery out and about, but evods work equally well on an ego battery.
