This is my thoughts on the UDT-L 510 fixed voltage mod.

This mod appears from the little bit of research I did to be made by the same company that make the AGA-T, AGA-S- and iGo-L, I have not a bad word too say about all of these devices so was quite looking forward to checking out this little beast and at 9.99 plus p+p doing so was quite a risk free project.

The UDT-L is a simple beast, a fixed voltage (3.2v) Mod that can accept both 18650 and 18350 Batterys, just like the Vamo, and just like the Vamo it uses the same removable extension tube to accomplish this.

That is where the similarities to the Vamo end though, this is a simple "one shot" no Variable voltage device ... the vaping equivalent of a Derringer if you will.

The attraction for me was several fold, My Aga-T+ coils (and often my iGo-l ones as well) I tend to wind to between 1.2 and 1.8Ohms so this device is more than capable of providing enough V's for these devices as I use them, and also has a considerably smaller footprint than the Vamo thereby making it an ideal "popping to the shops" vaping device .. or so I was hoping. Its also made by the Aga-T guys .. so again my hope was it would be designed to fit with and look nice with said devices.

The footprint of this device is small .. lovely and small in 18650 mode it is a couple of mm higher than the vamo in 18350 mode, in 18350 mode .. its ridiculously small. couple it with an iGo-L and you have one very small and neat looking stealth vaping machine.

and the iGo-L fits it perfectly.

The Aga-T+ on the other hand is a little wide for it, which is a crying shame .. if the unit didnt have the indent at the top, it would fit it perfectly and look the shiz. this is not to be tho .. however if you can get past the slight stick out - the Aga-T+ at low Ohm winds performs very VERY nicely on the top.

(The UDT-L in 1830 mode with an Aga-T+ - shame about the size mismatch!)

Not a lot else I can say about the device ... Its small and compact, the finish is really nice (slightly better quality than the chrome Vamo IMO) and its less than a tenner before postage! - I don't think anyone should pick too many faults at that price! That said .. the fact its not shaped for the Aga-T+ is slightly disappointing .. looks lovely with an iGo though.

So general remarks :

Price : £9.99 which is in my mind outstanding once again from these manufacturers
Features : there are no bells and whistles with this .. but it does what it says on the tin, with (comparative to price) some style
Looks : there are better looking mods, there are also worse .. and practically none come in at this price.
Would I get another : possibly yes ... when I get more iGo's or Aga's. Its perfect for Low Ohms devices.

in that case yes ... 1830 mode and a pocket full of batteries :)

Ive yet to discover how long the batteries last in it

I reckon 2 18350's should do me a day, considering its a fixed voltage device :) I bet its about 3 tonnes lighter than a vamo :P

Should do ... 2x 18350 lasts me a day on the vamo :)

Great review and something I think Im going to give a go on the LR cartos. For £9.99 can you really complain? And much better than an ego.
