Next up for review is Rose & Ivy Vaping Elixirs! I purchased some of their range with my own money, taking advantage of their discount code for 15% off when they first started. You can find them at www.roseandivyliquids.co.uk and now they have a new discount code for 10% off, which is 10OFF although I'm not sure when this expires. The juices I purchased were all in 80 VG and 3mg.
Cornflake Crunch
Apparently this flavour tastes like the cornflake tart from school dinners. I definitely got cornflake on the inhale it almost has a crispy note. But this is backed by a fruity / jammy flavour, which is quite sweet but doesn't taste like artificial sweetener. I didn't quite expect it to taste so much like cornflake tart and this is definitely a flavour I will be coming back to. Maybe a hint of custard could have really brought this round making it taste more like the cornflake tart from school dinners though.
Tea Time Treat
This flavour is meant to be similar to custard cream biscuits. A problem I have had with biscuit flavours in the past is they taste burnt and lack sweetness. Tea Time Treat however seems to be quite the opposite. From the inhale, this juice is packed with vanilla, custardy notes and a sweet biscuit. Although I wouldn't say it is identical to a custard cream, it is as close as i've gotten yet. I'm very surprised to taste such a genuine biscuit in there that reminds me so much of the actual biscuit. It has a very nice mouth feel with so many creamy notes. Well done with this one, it's become one of my favourite custards.
Mystic Mint Ice-Cream
I must admit I was apprehensive about this flavour. I purchased it out of curiosity having never tried anything similar to the flavour profile but I have had a bad experience with chocolates. Yet again I feel it tastes very close to the real thing! This flavour almost tastes cold, with a heavy mint ice-cream taste and on the exhale a touch of chocolate. Although I felt it could do with a little more sweetness to resemble mint chocolate chip ice-cream more I am very happy with this one.
So far, Rose and Ivy's flavours seem to meet their flavour profiles perfectly, but I don't think I could use them as on all day vape since I don't have much of a sweet tooth. More like a e-liquid to treat yourself, but for those who love their desserts I couldn't recommend them more. It is definitely a different experience when compared to some American premium e-liquid brands which are packed with sweetener.
Next up for review is some liquids from Vapour Depots range.
