Russell Brand May Have Started a Revolution Last Night

I love it whenever the interviewer is put on the defensive,I love it even more when the interviewer is unable to come up with another provocative question as the response has stunned them into silence....especially when the interviewer is that muppet Paxman!

Brand gets on my nerves, but he speaks sense in this interview :) I cant help but agree with him. It took me until my mid 20s before I voted for the first and only time...I have had no desire to vote again since, nor will I until something changes in the world for the better of the people.

Russell Brand is one of those geezers that grate on my nerves but since seeing a few interviews he is changing my mind. I can't help but punch the air sometimes when he speaks. He's one smart cookie. Still a chunt though.

So glad this is becoming viral!

I posted it in the 'who do you vote for traditionally' thread and it had only had a few thousand views.

I really, REALLY hope this starts something.

He dresses like a weirdo,he acts like a moron....but he is very intelligent and articulated, plus uses english to wreck the recipient in such a way that they are never sure exactly what his meaning was.I shudder to think what kind of reaction his humour would have if directed to an audience whose 1st language isn't english.

i do enjoy listening to him in interviews , but hes still a chunt. cant stand the man. wouldnt even be able to put my finger on exactly why either tbh.

If you put a hat on him, he would look like Che. Russell speaks well but the absence of voting will only result in the continuance of the agenda politique or worse. Indifference and apathy breeds only forefront extremists, who in turn get elected. The difference of 5 million Catholic party votes decided the fate of the 1933 German Federal Election. If you turn your back on voting, expect the worst. What is really required in the U.K is a full elected 2nd chamber. Elected by representation as consequence of local elections i.e selected from the councillors who directly represent you and cannot hold a party affiliation like the speaker of the house.

Russell Brand reminds me of me - only without the fame, looks, humour and money.

But he still has time.
