Has anyone tried temp control with the Rx200, and how did you find it?

I have locked my resistance but it looks like to mod wants to fire at 200w.. anyway to change this or do I leave as is and let the temp control do it's thing?

In the manual it says to press the fire button 4 times and you can adjust the wattage for temp control, well that just turns my device off?

Also, how would my device perform with NiFe30? Since I can't change the coefficient can I just run at a lower temp to achieve the same results?

It's definetely 4 clicks, it will switch the wattage over to the big numbers, sounds like you're clicking 5 times by accident....

Haha, yes! I've got it now. Didn't notice the values swapping round :)

It certainly gives a better temp control experience than my xcube that's for sure. Still interested about NiFe though, I've got some 28g here I'm wanting to try.

I found it better in temp control than my sig75 and my old railbox.

You can use NiFe30 on the Ni200 setting, you'll need to offset the temperature though have a look at the table in the Wire wizard on steam engine...
