Hi just received a KTS which came with a safety fuse, I assume this attaches to the negative end of the battery so it sits between battery and spring....can anyone confirm.....I know its a dumb question but I want to be sure.

Cheers

It should on the top of the battery (flat top) unprotected.

If you have protected batteries, its just an extra cautious step. I dont use them but I have one.

Im using efest 18350's and 18650's so is there any need for it. Am a bit confused as a lot of vids say it goes on the bottom, the fuse os like a penny in size with a button magnet on one side .

It might depend on which one you have, mine goes on the top side....hmm

depends on which efests you have...did you check to see if they are protected?

well everything seemed to be going well, today however, I am noticing that the the firing button is getting warm, not red hot but warmer than I think is normal. I notice also that it doesn't seem to fire on occasion and get a very weak vape ( if at all) when I use aga t3. It does vape with the igo l at 1.1 ohms. Any ideas or suggestions?

I got a KTS for Christmas and I sanded off the end of the firing pin and the post it makes contact with, and also the top of the spring. (as seen on youtube). At one point It seemed to be firing weakly and i realised the button lock had been screwed out slightly, stopping it making contact -Doh!.
I'm using torchy batteries and left the fuse thing in the box and I haven't had any problems without it. I'm using it with a protank2
