Hey
I was hoping someone might be able to give me a bit of a steer. I've been using single & parallel mech's on & off for 5 odd years but until recently resisted the urge to go series. Today ive picked up first series mech (squonk) and not 100% sure how to coil it.
I know the coils should be greater then 0.4ohms and know how to use coiling calculators - what Im unsure of is what materials/gauges to use. Most of my wires are fairly chunky (20 or 22gauge) Ni80 or SS - Any dual coil I build to get them to 0.4 is gonna be fucking huge and wont fit in my atty! (Probably gonna use the Druga or Pulse 24 - although tempted to pick up a goon on way home!).
So any advice on what kind of wire/build I should look at? Im guessing its gonna need more then the standard 5 turns for single cell mechs!
