【Package】
VTEC' s package used this time is different from the previous style. The black paper package has a transparent design in the middle, with a hot silver Augvape VTEC1.8 brand logo on the top and a mod model below. According to official information, the logo of this mod is V200.
Augvape VTEC1.8 from vapeciga not only did a lot of work on the product, but also spent a lot of thought on the box, but the glue bonding method is not elaborate enough.
Pull out the shockproof cotton at the bottom. Open the bottom cover and then take out the manual and USB cable.
The USB cable is also red, the outer layer is covered with braided rope, it is not easy to damage, and the connector also has the logo of Augvape VTEC1.8. It should be specially customized and the quality is great.
There are instructions in the product, including the use of the product, function description and precautions. The zero-based person can generally use it after reading it, but there is no description of the unique Vtec mode of the mod, which will make some users especially the novice mistakenly thinks that it is the temperature control mode. However, Vtec does not have the temperature control function.
[Appearance and Details]
VTEC is a dual 18650 battery-powered mainframe. The overall shape is divided into the original shape of the Honda VTEC engine head. The body is made of zinc alloy, the size is 87.5×45×29.2mm, and the volume is relatively small in the dual-electric mainframe. The width of the battery is up to 36mm, the width of the mod is only 45mm, and the utilization of the visible space is quite high.
VTEC' s on-screen display and buttons are concentrated on the front of the mod. The black strip in the middle includes the screen and the ignition button. The surface of the new machine is covered with a protective film. The function prompt of the button is printed on the top, and the USB interface is at the bottom.
In order to maintain the “1 to 1 re-engraving” with the engine, the mod's adjustment button uses the same shape of the circular switch, the upward movement is increased, and the downward movement is reduced.
There is a seam at the bottom of the fuselage. It can be seen that the main casing is assembled in three parts. Although the seam at the bottom is neat and tight, it still somewhat destroys the overall feeling.
The front and back of the VTEC mainframe are the same on the whole, with a black trim on the back that corresponds to the front screen. The black trim is equipped with the “Inspired by B18C-R”, which is inspired by the “B18C-R” engine.
The 510 part adopts the "wheel hub" shape, which is about 24mm in diameter, slightly higher than the top of the mainframe. Don't worry that some atomizers with sharp edges at the bottom edge will damage the paint surface of the main machine.
The battery compartment cover is at the bottom and can be opened by pulling it gently, but the locking structure after closing is relatively firm and will not open accidentally.
There is a positive and negative sign inside the cover, which is powered by a common spring thimble.
[Operational Settings]
The display content includes the output mode, current power, resistance, voltage, power supply duration and battery power. The two batteries have independent power display. If there is a problem in one of the batteries, you can find it according to the mark in the battery compartment.
The setting of VTEC is very simple. After the ignition key is pressed for 3 times, the output mode at the top will be highlighted. At this time, the pulsator can be switched up and down to switch the output mode. Press the ignition key to confirm.
The switch is still operated with a universal quick 5 simultaneous push ignition button.
VTEC has only three output modes: Normal, BP (Bypass) and V MODE (Vtec).
The first two types need not be described again, but the third V mode need to explain. This is an enhanced version of the power output mode, not the temperature control mode.Because the specification does not introduce in detail, after switch the V mode, the output voltage is switched to J (Joule). According to the current mod function "Rout", it is easy for the user to think that this is the temperature control mode.
However, VTEC does not have a temperature-controlled output. The V-mode is still a power output. The official does not have a detailed introduction to this mode. The general meaning is that in the V mode, when the output is below 50W, the chip will speed up the ignition and enhance the output. When the output is above 50W, the above effect will be further strengthened.
According to my actual experience, it can be understood as the “curve” output mod. But built-in in the chip, the user can not adjust the curve. After switching the V mode, the response speed and output performance of the coil do have a hint. Users familiar with the output curve should be familiar with this effect.
Of course, before you get the official detailed instructions, it's effortless to understand. Maybe Augvape VTEC1.8 uses a unique technology.
In the V mode, the output voltage parameter is replaced by joule. The official statement is that it can more accurately display how much "work" is done in each use. I thinks that this method hides the actual output voltage and also protects the technology.
For the average user, it is not concerned about inhaling a puff of smoke from a vape. How much joule heat is generated by the coil, and the output voltage is more reference.
