Short Introduction of myself

Good evening everyone.

I'm Jade, jimbouk1977's (james) misses. He asked me to sign up to this as well, as we both started using E-cigs, as we are trying to quit smoking, because of health reasons.
We've tried everything that's on the market. Patches, sprays, ziaban (really don't recommend this, as it sent both of us loopy, this stuff is dangerous), amongst other things, though nothing got us off the tobacco, untill we found the E-cig.

We both been doing really well on these, though finding the right flavour is a different thing.

James tries anything and everything, but so far all the juices he's bought I don't like.
The only one I do like is the Janty Classic series RY4, though this one is the more expensive one. We've tried a few other RY4's, but they don't taste the same, and imo don't taste nice. Now If we could find a Janty RY4 which is cheaper than the one we bought last time, I would be a very happy woman.

In the mean time jimbo (james) is still looking for his perfect juice, whilst we're looking for a cheaper alternative for mine, unless someone knows how to mix it and with what, and could tell if that would make it cheaper  As going by what I've heard mixing your own shouldn't be that hard, if you know what you're doing.

O well before I really write an essay

Hello everyone :wink-new:

Hey there and welcome to the Planet! I don't know who manufactures Janty's e-liquid or if they do it themselves. What is it about their Ry4 that you like that the others are lacking?

Hi FD nice to see ya here, welcome .... The answer is to get James to vape what you like and steal it from him :strawberry:

Welcome to the plant FlyingDragon, great place to get all the info you need, I was always looking for the perfect tobacco flavour which eluded me but just lately my taste has moved to the more fruit based flavours of which come straight up or mixed like a cocktail.

I try and get sample or smaller sizes as the financial impact is lessened if I don't like the flavour.
DarthVaperUK has moved into DIY liquid making and I'm sure his upcoming posts will have plenty of information on this route but again flavours can be very objective.

One thing for sure all at POTV will make you feel welcome and I can vouch that no question what so ever will be deemed to silly and a fair and informative response can be assured from the many helpful members.

Thanks for the welcomes.

As for the juices, everyone has their own preference in taste.
Good job, otherwise it would be a very boring world right?

To KurlMeStupid: I cant really explain the taste of the Janty, It's vanilla, yet caramel like, it isn't harsh on the thoat, it's sweet, yet not too sweet, it takes the sharpness off the throat hit, bit soothing more than anything, yet still leaves a tobacco after taste if that makes sense.

other RY4 seems to be to sweet or just has an odd after taste that over powers that said I got some standard RY4 form VapeEscape & now I'm used to it it isn't as bad as when I first got it as for samples I think it is the way to go from now on in as I'm growing a collection of things I will only use if I get desperate but we have to by in two strengths also so it is double the cost as FD likes 18mg & I use 24 - 30mg

Hi Jade, welcome to the forum. I have not been a member long, but now feel this is my second home! I too am thinking about doing some mixes for personal use, menthol and banana menthol and there is loads of info in the mixing section here to start you off! I'm sure your going to love it !

Although I haven`t tried the Janty RY4 (knowingly) I have tried a selection of different (alleged) tobaccos from various other places, what I did find was that a few seemed to be very similar to one another, so there`s a possibility that you may find something that appropriates what you`re looking for - maybe with a bit of tweaking.

They`re nothing like tobacco, but there seems to be an underlying thread of similarities.....caramel (light & dark), biscuits (I never had a fag that tasted like biscuits), NUTS !!!! (kill me now), cool mint (aftertaste) and even "the smell of the taste" of those fake rubber dog bones you can get...and even "PlayDoh"

subjective taste is different for each victim....I mean user, but there are very distinct similarities between specific flavours & brands.

Keep your options, taste buds and purse open....you may just find it ! :)
