I have a brand new piston for a 50cc engine

I thought I would make an atty stand.... it's a proper piston with the bearing and clips and the rings

so I have converted it into a stand and then made a stand a stand, in oak for it to sit on

have a look

love my stands etc etc

I’ve got a piston sat in my shed waiting to get the same treatment. Yours looks better that my effort though.

putting the circlips in to hold the rod was the hardest part, i suppose it's easy to convert one if you have the tools not so easy if you haven't got access

As daft as that was intended to be I can imagine that would be quite comfortable in the hand although not much cop if you needed to put it down!

Comfortable in the hand but maybe not so comfortable in the intended place.

On the upside you could get the Mrs to bend over while you put a build in your RDA
