all is not well in the vapesmarter workshop

my miller died well not died more like bang crash

want to hear the story and see "Capo"....

DVD?

tonight as more snow comes down (I'm getting fed up with the white stuff !!!)

pull up a chair with a wee dram and....

"I robot"

Detective Del Spooner: Is there a problem with the Three Laws?

Dr. Alfred Lanning: The Three Laws are perfect.

Detective Del Spooner: Then why would you build a robot that could function without them?

Dr. Alfred Lanning: The Three Laws will lead to only one logical outcome.

Detective Del Spooner: What? What outcome?

Dr. Alfred Lanning: Revolution.

Detective Del Spooner: Whose revolution?

Dr. Alfred Lanning: *That*, Detective, is the right question. Program terminated.

so the milers capacitor exploded mid cut and I mean it went bang kaboom smoke sparks the lot, so after buying a new motor and spending 2 days drilling welding wiring wrestling with the 2.5hp lump into place the miller started again but the new motor being so powerful when I start the miller up the whole head moves by 2 thou.....interesting.

so after a 4-hour drive, I purchased at great expense (i could say for you guys) a new one

now with all this new freedom in mind, I carried on with "Capo"

here is the original block, we need some shaping

colours are blues and green 6 in fact

I rounded off the bottom corner

so it feels nice in the old paw

the tube is stainless, the plate all in one brushed finish with proper stainless oval buttons flat to the plate, none of this round "I can only drill round hole cobblers "..)

add this together and we have

Why Capo stu?

the mod is called "Capo" as this was the block the miller's capacitor exploded whilst cutting, nearly taking one of my 9 lives it did take a chunk out the wall behind it though

another cleanup and polish, napa leather bag and box, final test and "Capo" is done

now I have had a lot of problems with Royal Mail lately 2 mods have got damaged by them so I will pack this even more carefully than before for the new owner he's not a member but he may join POTV

Absolutely love this. You can see the waves hitting the cliffs from above

I'm not in the best of moods tonight

I've run out of coffee beans ( a big problem in this house)

its just stopped snowing

the salesmen who sold me the miller just couldn't give a toss £900 quid and it was like a bag of spuds, in fact, I'm typing them a letter as I post a little like this clip below, as I've found small problems with the miller.....

A craftsman needs his tools so i hope you get something sorted Stu. Quality work again though, as always. All the best to you mate.

Hi Stu, sorry to hear about your problems, hope you get it all sorted. Still doing some amazing work, love this one.
