Hello

I'm in the market for a box to build a Series MOSFET mod. Is prefer to avoid the "Hammond lean". Are there any readily available alternatives?

Ta.

Rapid online's own brand of Die Cast boxes don't seem to have a taper.

But.....they do have protruding screw mounts on the base, so if you want supa dopa clean, a Sanded down Hammond is still the best option (easy for me to say with a belt sander:18:)

They are a bit of a bugger to build in, unless everything is on a PCB that fits in the internal ridges, and all your controls are on the die cast end caps.

Use them a couple of time for some Amp projects.

I never said they were easy, they just look good...:flames:

I sanded mine by hand. Started with good 80 grit sandpaper taped round a flat piece of wood, and used a square to check sides level.

Stealthvape's got a G? size box polished, flat and ready to go.
