Single Nano Dragon Coil

I'm waiting for my dual coil which will be seriously drilled out for the Nano Dragon Coil setup but couldn't resist building half of it on an Igo-L. Very nice

Yo man what ohmage did you get out of this? I built a duel one of these that came out at about 0.6, which should work quite well but the only way I got a really decent vape out of it was with stacked batteries. mine was 14 wraps of .35mm kanthal around a 0.9mm screwdriver.

This single coil came out at 0.7ohms.
I'm not 100% sure of the width of the kanthal, it was an unlabelled freebie but comparing it against some .28mm and .45mm I have, it's somewhere in the middle. I'd guess its about the same .35mm. I wrapped it around a sewing needle which is about .75mm thick.
I'm going to double it up when my Igo-W turns up so 0.4ohms. That'll be some serious business right there

I just tried one of these! And Every f*cking time I did the cotton, it then flooded the inside of the coil... Which meant a piss poor vape. Gone back to silica (for now... until tomorrow when I'm HOPEFULLY making a custom top cap for the Igo-L in engineering

I don't think its much better than a regular coil. I'm still going to trick out the W when it comes and try the full dragon nano. Waiting on FT

Hmm, I'm tempted to try it again after monday with the new top cap I should be getting... But.. Until then, standard silica twisted microcoil for me.

Found 10mins spare to rebuild and try out a one of these before I attempt the duel coil and its not bad. I can see how the duel could be a juice drinker though as the single coil gets through enough!

I found that if I twisted the single coil on the posts so that one end was sat in a "puddle" of juice,the coil seemed to act like a mesh wick & suck the juice into the coil to then fire out the top.I wasn't doing to well though as I only possess the Vamo atm(my battery box mod is mid-reconfiguration)When I get it finished,I'll try again.

To be honest, I don't think I'll bother with these nanocoils again. I was in the pub at the weekend and put a bit much juice in the dripper and it got inside the coil and didn't work very well. Good to try but I don't think its much better than a standard microcoil around some wick or cotton IMHO.
