Can you knowledgable gents tell me why the clearomiser I need to buy is called a single use disposable item?
Surely they can be used over and over.

Clearomizers can indeed be used more than once however they are sold as a single use disposable item as there is a limit to how much you can reuse it. It will get to a point where you'll have to throw it away as flavour and vapour production will diminish with time. If you're lucky enough, you might get a week or two of use from it.

That sounds like a ce4. Go for a ce5 rebuildable, then you only need to change the heating coil and not the whole thing.

Yup CE4 or maybe an earlier fossil me thinks. Sometimes they are referred to as disposable in regards to a guarantee (as in no guarantee:stinker:.DOA - dead on arrival replacement only). An EVOD clearomizer or such like will last a good long while. But as @clint says all things will eventually die, even stars.

Will the ce5 fit my 510 battery?

If you have a slim 510 battery, chances are the clearomiser you have is not a CE4, unless it's bigger (wider) than your battery and looks a bit "odd".
You might well have a mini clearo. (nano etc.)

It is one I bought from a market, the name on it is - liteups Ego-T CE5 kit. It is my 1st e-cig.It cost £20 so is probably not compatible with anything else. Please recommend a good one to buy for compatibility.I like the sound of the rebuildables, but which?

The CE5 was my first Vape, and the clearomizers are sold as disposable, although with a bit of tinkering you can rebuild the coil and wicks in them

However, once I upgraded to a Protank (which fits a 510 ego but a bit larger than CE5) my vaping world changed for £14.99. with the protank you can change the heads, rebuild them and compared to the CE5 they are worlds apart

(always harping on about my protanks yawwwwwwn)

Oh, OK :)

an eGo is good news. It probably has both 510 and eGo fittings (99% sure on that).
"inexpensive" sometimes causes a problem, but I doubt it.
If you have the two fittings (small one on the inside, larger on the outside) you can buy and use almost anything at all....and I mean that. The world is your oyster.

I couldn't find liteups, but that's irrelevant. I have a £7 kit that fits everything.
If you want a rebuildable clearomiser then you could try mini/regular Protanks or "Davides".
personally, for longevity of the atomizer head, I would try an iClear16.
personally (no.2) I would avoid full-sized tanks on a medium width battery, unless you need a 2+ml tank. I use mini Protanks A LOT.

I'll go into more detail later.
