smells great tastes average help ?

diy mixing for about 1 month and i am struggling to get the taste as good as the smell
Any help would be great
My all day vape is flavor west cin roll, i have tried 10/15/20/28% 60vg/40pg 50/50 18mg
steeped at 2/3/4 weeks

Most of my mixes will fire on mech mods and 10/15 watts on vv/vw mod withhout burning, but my adv fav juice (fw cin roll) will only go to 6 watts before the burnt taste starts 1.4/1.6 ohm coils

Dont know if it helps, but i've had the same thing with Flavour West Dr. Pepper.

Smells 100% like Dr Pepper but tastes nothing like it. Mixed at 60/40 and 70/30. I'm not one for Super strong flavours, but i think the 10ml that i made eventually got up to 15% and still tasted subdued.
