Smok 22 pen what am I doing wrong

Hi all.
Been vaping about 6 weeks now and I use smok 22 pens.
Im having to change the coils every 2 or 3 days and uses juice like its going out of fashion. From reviews i have read of the smok 22 coils are supposed to last a week and juice usage is high with these particular pens. But the coils are working out more expensive than smoking was! Any advice? Apart from upgrade to a mod and tank of course. I want to but am clueless on what to get.

smok is the problem. their QC on coils is atrocious and we here the average is 1-2 days of life before they burn out.
do you prime your coils first or just put in tank fill and vape.
priming may help a little. before inserting coil drip liquid on all the cotton around the coil and a few drops down the centre. fill up and let sit for 15 minutes. then take small short pulls to start with so the coil beds in a bit. others have said using a pin and gently making a small hole in each bit of cotton around the coil may help but dont push too hard.

forgot to ask, what ratio of juice are you using. 70vg should be ok but 80vg will struggle.

I do prime first and wait doing all the faff
Im using 70 which leaks all the time i have tried 80 which stops the leak but as you said the coil struggles and I end up with hot juice spitting into my mouth! Time for a mod and tank I think!

I highly rate the freemax mesh pro tank which I have two. A mod with 150-200watt would be best for this tank.
I run mine at 50-70w but the coils can handle higher and always good to have wattage headroom. I have run it on vaporesso armour pro 100w but even with a 21700 single battery it needs charging every night and that's why I prefer a dual batter 200+ mod.

Before you do, try this method; after every few puffs flip open the top fill lid to let air in, the next draw should be juicer and wick faster.

Most Smok stock coils struggle with 80/20 juice, the coil often fails due to not enough juice reaching the coil but this method should help the coil life, worked for me on the Prince Stick, 1 coil lasted 3+ months of light use.

I rarely use 80/20 juice for stock coils, depending on the flavour I find it's a coil killing ratio, better for use on RDA's

That said if you're looking to buy separate mod and tank @MrDJ is spot on with the Freemax Mesh Pro, best tank I own especially with triple mesh coils, Mod wise is down to your taste, I use the Smok Species for mine.

There is a lot of anti-vaping propaganda out there but it is all fake. Vaping can help you stop smoking, but those tobacco companies pay for these fake researches because more and more people are vaping and they started losing money. This forum ain't for those kinda Vapes mate, not really supposed to discuss them here.

Smok coils in general tend to struggle quite a bit with sweetener from my experience, always worked fine with my diy liquid though. Having said that the Tfv16 is easily my favourite tank (and the coils are actually really good), didn't like the mesh pro as much as everyone else does

2 its for dry herb or in other words from what ive seen on videos for da weed
