smok procolor burning coils

Hi
fairly new vaper since February
don't seem to have a lot of luck with vapes, had a cheap smok 22 first that was good but broke,
then had a vaperesso but couldn't get a tank bigger than the dreaded 2ml
so went for a freemax twister which was good but the battery doesn't last more than a morning
so decided to splash out and got a smok procolor with a big baby tank,
i also invested in an all day vape extension glass and a usb charger
had this for 2 weeks now.

had the usual Q2 coil in it but as they are huge i use the chimney extension with a variety of coils.
I have tried smok 0.25π and am now using my old vaperesso coils GT mesh 0.18π

since last week the coils have been gradually burning out quicker and quicker.
I changed it Saturday morning and by Sunday lunch time it was burnt out.
Changed it Sunday tea time for another and by Lunchtime monday that had burnt out too.
These are the same coils i used in my vaperesso which would last for at least a week sometimes 2

i am using the same juice caramel mint with 10ml of coffee cream and 3mg of Nic
i always buy the juice from the same ppl.

I prime my coils by adding drops of juice to the outside and inside and then fit them and fill then leave for at least 20mins.
My vape is variable so i only have it on 35w which i find is nice as i don't like a big hit.

anyone got any suggestions pls as to why the coils are burning out so quickly, this is working out expensive having to change the coils daily

Sounds like you're doing everything right buddy. Have you tried one of the coils from the same back in your other mods? It's definitely not uncommon for 1 or more coils in a pack to be poor especially with smok. Smok coils gave me nothing but heartache

Try my trick, flip open the filler cap and let air in every 5 or 6 puffs, it helps it wick faster.

Makes my stock coils last a lot longer.

the coils i'm using at the minute are GT mesh coils and they have burnt out as well?

may sound strange but im wondering if your running too low as they are rated at 50-85watt
i run 0.18 at 55watts and they last a good week.

Get a super fine needle and poke it thru the cotton in each wick port very carefully without pushing or bending the wire as the needle goes thru. Make 2 holes per wick port - top and bottom. Coils that once lasted me mere days now often last a month.

Nothing major. But if you're too heavy handed you can push the wire off the cotton. But it's not the end of the world if you nudge the wire a little bit. You can usually feel when the needle hits metal. Just pull back a little and angle up or down slightly.
