Some questions (Squonk mod / RDA)

So basically i took my profile rda off my mod one day and this happend... I just want too know if its dangerous? have I basically ruined my mod because of this?? image is below.

Also The past 2 times I have tried to build my profile RDA it has kept lighting up in flames, and burning the cotton, i have prefired it with no cotton to make sure for hotspots etc as you do. and everything was going fine, I was using wotofo's own cotton and coils so I don't see how it could be them. everything seemed perfects and when I went to take a puff of it, I had the worst throat burn from it... I swear I have never experienced anything like it my throat was on fire and it tasted awful hahaha I believe this might be what they call a dry hit? i'm not too sure tho, never experienced one until today if that's what it is. But I made sure it was well juiced up before hitting it, so if someone could please help i'd appreciate it, I have none of there coils left so idk what im going to do now until I wait for amazon too ship me more...

Sorry buddy, I can't work out what I'm looking at in the photograph. When you say this happened, could you briefly explain what this is?

Was there a solid black plastic cover that has now broken apart?

Same, can't tell what's happened in the pic

For it to set on fire without any hotspots is head scratcher unless you hadn't soaked the cotton

It still reads the proper resistance, right?

The Dyadic is prone to juice build up in that area so no you haven't screwed the mod. If your mesh build is bursting into flames it's either starting watts is too high or not enough cotton.

Yeah man its reading the resistance's fine, I made sure there was plenty of cotton in there as I even used there cotton that came with it which is thick ass cotton and deffiantly enough, done all the usual things and covered it in juice, fire it once that was okay, squonked it a little just to be sure it was nice and wet and it just burst into flames... im really confused

Yeah if u look on the left bit of where the rda would be sitting, you can see some sort of plasticy type layer coming off, I just want too make sure my mod isnt like in danger off blowing up or something haha

Looking at the picture it looks like everything around the 510 connector has collapsed.
It would only take one thing to be touching that shouldn't and you could end up with any number of dangerous scenarios from the mod catching fire to the batteries overheating from a short.
Please remove the batteries and dispose of the mod.

I would have thought it impossible to burst into flames, i don't like the look of the top of your mod and first off that would be worrying me though i don't have any experience of that Mod, however i use the Profile RDA quite often and would never think it was capable of bursting into flames, unless i was vaping petrol. If your cotton is soaked how in the hell can it burst into flames, it just doesn't ring true with me for the simple reason no e-liquid is flammable and the cotton alone wouldn't burn like that without constant heat from your mesh and even then it would take a while, i believe you experienced a dry hit because when i first used the Profile i had one and it was awful, it's just the bursting into flames i am struggling with.

I thought that but looked it up and that's how it is. But the OP's does look cracked
