Hi all,

Brand new to vaping and have probably THE most basic question. Hopefully someone can answer it quickly so I can slope off quietly, lol

Ordered a couple of bottles of PG and a couple of VG which I plan to mix - and experiment a bit till I get a vapour/hit combo I like.

My question is, what is the best way to mix the two liquids? I assume alternative drops of each directly into the cart is wrong and that they should be fully mixed first before being added to the cartomiser, correct?

I have a syringe I can use, so could I just add the PG/VG to this and shake/agitate to mix the two liquids together beforehand? Are there any other useful instructional guides out there for complete beginners, before I get any more adventurous? I'm eager to learn, so any tips appreciated!

Cheers, Lemons

as said above for the nic you need nicotine base unless you are going 0mg this you can get in PG or VG

Hi, the nic is the same level in both (18) so its not a nic level I'm worried about - more the vapour/throat hit balance, if that makes sense....

I am not answering anything so you can slope off!!

You are more than welcome to join in, ask anything you like, and most importantly enjoy.

My way of mixing is pretty brutal if I am honest,

I dump the coreect amount of Nic Base (in VG) PG base and VG base along with flavouring in a little glass bottle, put lid on, shake violently then allow to steep, but impatience sets in, and I vape the lot before its had time to steep :(

At the top of the forum is a mixing calculator, it tell you what you need to add to make a mix.

Why I use nic in VG is because I like a 50/50 mix. :)

oh ok so you have pg nic and vg nic both at 18mg, I personally would try 70pg to 30vg and see how that is. As above just mix it together give it a shake and let steep.

I know what ya mean about getting impatient I have some choclate pear steeping at the moment and so tempted to start on it now as it was really nice on testing.

There is also a andriod app available for mixing if you are using a andriod phone or indeed one on this forum or others available as well. I personally am using the app

The app was put together by our very own jrob3rts, and a damn fine app it is too :)

Just to clarify - its 2 bottles of 18mg strength liquid - one VG and one PG - both in the same tobacco flavour. I want to blend the 2 together (pretty basic) but just wanted to check on the very basics of mixing PG and VG together.

I keep fish so have an abundance of glass bottles and syringes so pretty sure I can get the necessary equipment together. I shall combine the two and shake violently, as Andy suggested :)

Excellent - thanks! I'll definately check the app out!

If you have 2 liquids the same, am I right in the assumption, that they were bought premixed?? Both 18mg Nic strength. Can you advise what it actually says on the labels of both bottles. Are they both the same tobacco flavour??
