So someone said that I could 'flavour stack' and also in terms of mixing different flavours like peach and apple for example, so my question is, if it takes 20% of peach and 20% of Apple to get it right on there own, would it means that to put them together I would have to have my mix as 40% flavour? Or would I have to half both to makes 20% overall flavour?

No is the short answer. I would consider 40% to be over flavoured, I really don't think you want to go there.
Personally, when blending flavours, I begin to question the mix/recipe if it reaches above 20% in total though I have a few which are in the 20-25% range.
To some extent when you blend, the flavours interact and some of the flavours can have either an enhancing or muting effect on other flavours. It becomes apparent that blending does not always require the same % that a flavour would demand as a standalone.

Try 10% of each, 20% total, and test the results.

Oh, and never apologise for asking questions, that's what the forum is all about. If you're thinking it, you can be sure that others are too.

Like scrumpox said, over 20% could be overwhelming, there are exceptions but very few.

If you have any experience with either flavour then decide which is most powerful and mix it in favour of the weaker flavour. In my experience apple tends to be stronger than most peach flavours (going mainly off TFA, however.) so I'd go for a 15%/5% ratio, or even 12%/8% (Peach/Apple)

If you're still unsure, go with Scrumpox and mix 10%/10% and see how it goes.

Fortunately you're using fruit flavours which take a little less steeping time (typically a little more than 1 day-3 days max) so you'll be able to tell what's working and dominating the mix very quickly.

Hope this helped :)

Make samples of your flavours at 5%-10% (fruits/desserts) no nicotine. No need to make loads just 2ml or something. Then you'll get an idea of what percentage to use them at, and how they will work with others. You really need to do this, i made the mistake of just adding stuff together and ended up with some disgusting stuff. I know you want to probably jump in and make something really nice, but without knowing the basics of your flavours it probably won't happen.

Your Apple might be twice as strong as Peach, If you just used a equal amount of each then it might just overpower the peach. Best to get an idea of each flavour before throwing them together.

This!

See I thought myself 40% was too much but wasn't sure regards to it only being decent standalone at 20% each.

So yep wasn't the only one thinking hmm

Nobody was born knowing everything about vaping, some just think they were ;)

How we all learn is by asking :P

This is how I do it, when I get a new flavour I make a 5ml mix at 5% 0mg nic. That gives me an idea of what sort of strength it is and because it doesn't need steeping it gives me a quick idea what the final flavour will vaguely taste like. I might even try a few rough and ready blends by using two drops of one mix and one of another directly onto my dripper to give a clue as to whether the flavours will work together. Next having decided what might work I will mix it up at 0mg another 5ml and give that a blast. Nicotine does change the flavour but again I find this gives me a rough idea, and I still haven't wasted any nic which is one of the more expensive ingredients in a juice. Stage 3 is to mix with nic and give it a 1 week steep before testing to see how its coming out. With these steps I rarely mix an unvapable juice, though I rarely mix more than three flavours together.

Every reply you've had has been good knowledge. the only thing I would add is that if you are mixing 2 flavours it may not be 10% + 10% to get to your desired 20%. Flavours may need to be in a different ratio to get your personal taste, maybe 12% + 8% or 14% + 6% etc ...Experiment and good luck and ask away....

Thanks guys, honestly every question has been answered and more!! I am going to be making up 5ml of each of the three flavours I have to see what they are like at different strengths :)

From the my next plan is to make a provisional mixture of what I want to end up with and then from there tweak and make a bigger batch :)

Spot on.

Honestly you'll do much better getting a taste for each concentrate. Ive done a few mixes recently where I've used a few concentrates which I haven't got round to testing (in addition to my tested concentrate in a recipe), and although I've only used 0.5% or 1% they don't fit the flavour profile of the juice. However if id tried them first i would have already knew this and not made up 10ml of crap juice. It was basically marzipan in a cherry bakewell recipe, but as i didn't have almond i thought id get away with it. Which i didn't.

Don't worry I'm currently vaping 20ml of some awful under flavoured blueberry menthol, my stance on t however is that it's stopping me vaping someone else's juice that would have cost me more money!!

I'm one of the lucky ones that can vape almost anything all day, even if it is honestly THAT bad!! (This is why I thought I'd get in to mixing)!!
