Squonk advice!!

Evening all, been trying to look into a Squonk mod/kit for myself, fancy giving it ago. I’d preferably like a regulated one as it just a lot less to worry about when building on the rda.. but having said that I am comfortable using a mech Just I’m over paranoid while using one and feel I can never relax with the thing lol!!

But anyway if anyone and everyone could reply with some decent devices (mech or regulated) and maybe links that’d be much appreciate!!
 
Spoiled for choice lately! There's something for every taste and wallet size.. Personally I love my vt inbox but end up using mechs a lot more. The Pulse squonker is cheap as chips and works a treat. I'd love a therion 75c bf though. Maybe for crimbo. :)

I’ve been looking around and taken a liking to the Athena.. but I’ve seen some mixed reviews on the mod AND the rda! I like the short stubby look of it though

First up, welcome to the Planet
Second up, what @ZendeR said. There are loads of new squonkers coming out every week, it’s really taken off. The VTinbox is so good I have two, but at the moment I have my eye on the Aleader Killer 80w, which is coming up cheap as chips on the Chinese sites.
Third up, since it seems that you like mechs but enjoy a little peace of mind, how about something like the Pico Squeeze from Eleaf? It’s regulated in as much as it won’t fire a dodgy coil or low build, but other than that behaves pretty much like a mech. If you can find one, the Kanger Dripbox works on a similar principle.
Fourth, and last up, the Therion IS a lovely mod, nice to look at and a cracking vape, but for what it costs, I’d go with a couple of the ones I’ve already mentioned (disclaimer: I have the original Therion BF and haven’t tried the upgraded ‘C’ version).
I’m not going to get into mechs, I’ll leave that for someone else as I have a couple but rarely use them.

Edit: Nearly forgot, we have a dedicated squonk forum, if you post squonk questions on there, you should get more answers.

I just check that vtinbox out.. I think I might go for that, best looking regulated one I’ve seen so far. I wouldn’t mind a mech, I mean I learnt to build on mechs but like you said it’s just peace of mind with a reg device if you don’t have a short or mistake you have a kind of safety net.

Hoping somewhere can get me that Squonk tomorrow. Cheers for the advice bro!

I think there was one for sale in the classifieds the other day but I'm not sure you've got enough posts to enter that sub section yet.
I also have the Drone which I really like but never goes out the house because it's so big, also have the Dripbox 160 which (if you can find one ) is cheap and pretty good apart from the rda you get with it.

I may just go for the Vt! & I’ll try check it out see if I can get in there, also while I just thought of it... best rda for a Squonk? Incase the one that comes with the VT kit is trash I’ll buy the mod and rda seperate

I use the 22mm Pulse rda on mine. It doesn't leak so easily if you over squonk which I have a habit of doing
