Stainless steel wire

Quick question about to order the crown tank and noticed that it comes with stainless steel coils do you have to run these on temp control or can you just use them as you would kanthal

Not using it but from the chatter on the forum it seems can be used for tc and non tc

Just use them as you would kanthal. I prefer ss to kanthal as it heats up and cools down much faster plus has lower resistance.

Just ordered one of these myself (the black one). I was planning to use it in basic wattage mode but may have a bit of a play about with them in TC mode. Will have to upgrade the x cube to use the SS option tho. Will let you know how it goes.

Does anybody know which mods cab be used for stainless? I have a sense cyclone with a ss temp coil. Only used it in normal mode but it can run with a ridiculous amount of watts iirc it's rated at 120w
