Just finished off making my first DIY box mod kit, and im well pleased with it!
Ive used a hana stye box from stealthvape, these have a removable chip and screen holder that makes it very easy to mount neatly.
The box is designed for a standard size DNA30 board so you need to cut the mounting rails off.
As I used a new large screen DNA40 I also had to make the cut out for the screen bigger, I did this on the milling machine at work to make a neat job.
The chip/screen holder also needed trimming for the larger screen to fit.
Also needed to trim the chip holder to make room for the Fat Daddy 510 conector.
I didnt use the spherical switches that came with the box as stealthvape himself says they are crap, so i used proper C & K spherical switches, I used a better quality 'Keystone' 18650 battery sled, although there is nothing wrong with the one supplied, i had one in anyway, so used it.
Im really impressed with these boxes from stealth vape, highly recommended, the chip holder especially.
Heres a pic with my Kayfun 4 on top, My new 'At home' vape.
What do ya think? I love it.

Nice build !

I have all the bits and pieces to build the same mod but with the dodgy small screen DNA40
but seem to lack the motivation to pull my finger out

If you have the stealth vape box the chip holder makes things so much easier and neater, and using a small screen you wont have to make the screen hole bigger.
Just need to trim a bit off the holder to make room for the fat daddy, you might just sqeeze a bigger fire button in, it would be damn close to the fat daddy though.
Get it built, I love mine

Looks great! Will you do mine for me too? :-D I have the kit but I know I'm going to eff it up so it's still sat in its box looking at me in a jeering manner.

Heyo, building the same mod w/ the ocd 510 from stealthvape. All the soldering is done but I'm getting no resistance from the atomizer (though it's worked briefly). I've checked the connection with a meter and it should be working. I'm wondering if you had to file down the battery/510 (top left) corner of the chip compartment to fit your 510? Or if there's any other advice you can give?

sorry ive taken so long to reply, been on hols.
check the neg conection from the dna board to the case, goes under a little screw in the case body near the 510.
and yes , i had to cut some of the chip holder off to make room for the fat daddy 510.
