steam turbine rebuild issues

Trying to do a dual coil rebuild on the steam turbine. Got my mesh and some 0.20 kanthal wire, tried everything from 3/4 right up to 9/10 and I still can't get it!

The best I've had is 2ohms on one coil and I need each coil to be around 3.8-4 ohms even then it was only hot at the top and immediately dropped to 1ohm. Please help me potv, you're my only hope.

I'm no expert but I think your wire is too thin in gauge.

I'd try a thicker wire.

Or, if you have loads of 0.20 and don't mind messing about, have a go at twisting it, two strands, or even three stands.

I really have no idea what I'm talking about but part of the fun is the messing around no?

The coils I left in it were .20 kanthal, Think it was about 1.5 ohms? I told you it was a balls ache Shame you haven't got a Mawsley near you

I managed it after a full five hours! Awesome flavour. Ended up settling for 1ohm overall, lovely flavour just needs more oomph

What a frightening prospect. What's the poor guy done to you?

I'd move further away from me but I always seem to follow myself wherever I go.
