Afternoon everyone

Just wondering what your steeping processes are?

Do you store in a cool place and shake every couple of days?
Do you open the eliquid air it out every few days then shake?
Do you add nicotine before or after steeping?
how long do you typically leave to steep?
Nicotine stored in the freezer or fridge?

looking for your best methods tips and tricks to maximise the outcome of flavour..

Thanks

I just put mine in a Dark Cupboard and leave it. Some things like Custards take more time to steep (2 Weeks or more) whilst fruit flavours are pretty much good to go. I buy Nic Shots in bulk so the majority go in the freezer and i take out as and when needed.

I mix mine up, give it a good shake and leave it in a dark place. If it's a fruity mix, I'll shake again after a few days and vape after a week. Deserts, custards and more complex mixes get left for anywhere up to a few months with an extra shake to mix every month (although it probably doesn't need it after the first shake).

I give a little shake then just leave it. I vape so little these days I'm always using something that's been steeping for longer than needed as i make up loads of bottles at once and before others run out.

There are reportedly a few methods.
Microwave
Ultra Sonic Bath
Hot Bath
Leave the top of in a warm dark place
Shake and stir

but the above can increase the steep turnaround but also oxidise nicotine.

best method is the simplest. Mix it up shake it, the shake again when you remember. And store in a cool dark place

Normally a good shake and into a dark cupboard.
Mixed up some Drip Hacks Blood of Vikings 4 weeks ago, which for me normally needs at least an 8 week steep, and put it in a sink full of hot tap water for 30 mins or so then gave it a good shake, repeated this for a few days and then left it alone.
Just tried it a few mins ago and disappointingly it still needs more time, worth a try I guess but back to the chuck it in a cupboard and forget for me.

i find stirring is better than shaking. also if you are mixing from scratch, it will steep quicker if you mix just the concentrates + nic and add vg and pg later. you absolutely need the nic in there for the steep process to happen.

Add the flavourings and the nic then leave. Time is the best method to steep any liquid.

Once you've given it a time you're happy with, add the VG and PG, very good shake, leave a day or so with shaking inbetween then good to go.

Mix, shake and leave it in a cupboard.

When making a high VG juice I've tried sitting the bottles in a few inches of hot water - it thins the juice and makes it easier to shake/mix but I can't say it reduced the steeping time. I found no difference whatsoever so I no longer bother.

Creams and custards - an absolute minimum of one month, but two months is better.

Fruits - many claim they are shake and vape. I've never found this to be the case and leave for 3 weeks.
