brought some e juice. it taste awful. I contacted company asking if their e juice needed to be steeped. the reply I got was all our juices need steeping! do I just bung them in the cupboard for a few weeks?

i microwave mine for about 8 secs then shake take the top off try and leave for a week [ squeeze bottle daily to introduce more oxygen ] seems to work fine anyone got any better tips

I wouldn't microwave my juices (personal choice). I take the caps off a few times a day so I can squeeze the bottle a few times to let out the air and let new air in. I do this daily for 1-2 weeks. Then the bottle goes back into the cupboard.

yeah microwaving is not a good idea.

Steeping is the process whereby the nicotine in the juice reacts with other chemicals in the e-liquid (nicotine is reactive stuff) it's a chemical process that is accelerated by heat and light and oxygen.

So while microwaving will supply heat, what usually happens is that you overdo it and create a juice volcano in your microwave.

If you take the lid off and leave it on a sunny windowsill for a day or two it'll be done. The normal method to steep something properly is to leave it with the lid off at room temp for 2 weeks. Sunlight (UV light specifically) makes it steep faster.

Most fruity juices will require less steeping than dessert type juices.
If its something like Vanilla Custard, then they can take 3 weeks+ steeping.
Best is patience, or if you have seen Lordys DIY juice review, a milk frother can rapidly decrease steeping times
here is the vid just in case u havent seen it, skip to 34 mins in

Steeping is a must...
A freshly mixed juice is nothing compared to a weeks steeped juice, its a whole new juice. The raw edges are gone, and pleasent flavours arise in you juice...

is this something you would do with every bottle of Juice or just the ones that are ruff around the edges?

For me, only the odd one or two if I have brought pre mixed, for my own mixes, a must for 7-10 days
