Strawberry disappeared

So

Made a basic strawberry and cream mix
6% Strawberry tfa
8% ice cream tfa

Tasted nice like a strawberry and cream Chuppa Chop lolly.

Left it for a week and tasted fine.

Problem is the Strawberry is non existent it has totally gone even now 3 days later it just tasted of the ice cream.
It is nice but i want strawberry too lol.

Anyone had this problem before?

yeah, happens a lot with strawberry (unless you use shisha strawberry as that seems to hold better). my own workaround for this if you want to make bigger batches and still taste it is to add a small amount of dragonfruit, 1% is fine, as this seems to help the strawberry lock in better.

I would say it's because you have more cream in your mix than strawberry.
Over time the cream matures and the fruit flavour fades slightly.
Try doing it again but using more strawberry than cream.

Flavourart Strawberry holds up well after a steep, my problem has been the opposite, the strawberry stays but the (Bavarian) cream diminishes. I'm trying to to get a strawberry instant whip taste going.

I was just after my own strawberry cream.
I'll try a few more variations and might even blend 2 types of strawberry in the same mix.
Post the results in a week or so

Not got any fully steeped yet but I dabbled with Capella Sweet Strawberry, seems promising, as does bigjuiceuk Strawberry Jam. Plenty of strawberry flavours out there, reminds me of the great tobacco flavour hunts I used to go on, end up with shit loads of concentrates but only a few were ever palatable or blend suitable.

Just use t juice strawberri. It's a good strawberry cream flavour on its own, no fade
