Hi I only got my spinner and pro tank 2, I have filled it with juice but find it crackles when I suck on it where my ce4 and vgot doesn't? Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Also it said when I turned the dial at the bottom to change output it would flash but it doesn't, it does change though so maybe I miss read, but there were no instructions in with it so it is trial and error, sorry it is such a stupid question but I have only just started out :anyone: :imwstupid

Crackles when you suck on it , your juices are cooking this is normal ;)

My BCC's (Evod/Pro Tank) tend to make a slight crackling noise when I fire them up but my ce4's don't. Are they vaping OK?

Some of my tanks make a noise...some are like light breeze in grass...others gurgle and pop and pee me off no end. My take on it is, if it isn't leaking (and a LOT have leaked), and it's giving a good vape, I dont tend to worry about it. In fact, only two of my tanks are practically noiseless, my mini-vivi and my iClear30.

Ive had a few issues with my protank 2...love it, but more hassle than the other two I've mentioned above.

I think bottom coils hate me...my evods are no better. Leaky, gurgling messes that lose more e-juice than I vape. I'm certain I'm doing something wrong...but I'm past caring, top coils for me :D

If your protank is crackling and spitting juice, remove the base, remove the head and wipe everything with tissue paper! Then screw the head back in, making sure it's really tight, then screw the base back on and try vaping again.

Sometimes the crackling is caused by juice leaking around the head, if it's not fully screwed on.

The crackling is caused by the juice boiling rapidly, drip a drop or two of water on a hot stove top or in a hot pan and you get the same thing, this is good, it means you have enough juice on the wick and enough power to the coils, if you were to go much higher now you'd probably get a burnt taste, so I would say you've found the right setting for that tank / head / liquid combo...:grin2:

Yes Midnight from what I can gather that is normal, I am loving this vaping and meeting people along with it :lovesign:

Crackle is generally good, but different things will carry the sound in different ways. My cartotanks are quite loud, my Protank is a fair bit quieter, my drippers generally quite silent - sometimes just one pop when I fire up. If it's just crackling and the vape is fine - then there's nought to worry about! :)
