Hello Apes

Well after a few attempts..... I got it working.

Not 100% perfect yet, but very nice to vape in a MTL like my Nautilus.
Full story below if you like a read and have some time to kill.

The "Chocolate Pirate Pipe"

Dark Chocolate
Jamaican Rum
Honey
Balkan NET (Latakia/Macedonia/Virginia)

https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/e-liquid-recipes/chocolate-pirate-pipe.html

The whole thing started because I bought a bottle of Balkan NET (https://www.naturally-extracted-tobacco.com/product-p/balkan.htm) and i loved the flavour but found it a bit too "smelly".
So i thought to smooth it out with some other strong-ish flavours and the bittery smelly finish of that Balkan mix was screaming Dark Chocolate to me. So i blended some with the pre-made Balkan liquid to see how it worked ... Result was a bit too strong on the chocolate (no other stuff was added at this moment), blended a bit more with lower chocolate percentage and started to work.
Went to bed and i was watching Pirates Of the Caribbean with my son, there it was Captain Jack Sparrow singing drunk in front of a fire with a bottle of Rum... and it hit me:
On that shore, with high humidity, salty moist air, a pipe tobacco would probably turn soggy and smelly and i thought "imagine the taste of such tobacco after a sip of that rough Rum".
Ended up adding the Rum to the mix and it was pretty good, however....I was still playing with the pre-made bottle of Balkan.
I made an order from NET.com and i decided to add the Balkan concentrate to my cart (https://www.naturally-extracted-tobacco.com/product-p/balkan-extract.htm) as i wanted to mix it myself from scratch.
The first attempt was ... just chocolate (again).... and quite bitter as well (as dark chocolate should be).
I use honey in other mixes, so i decided to sweet up the mix with it and BOOM!.... it worked !

The honey tends to be just a sweetener as its taste blends exactly in the middle of the Chocolate and Rum and as much as you can't directly taste it, it is in fact the element that keeps the whole mix together.

It's dense, powerful, smelly and dirty like a forgotten tobacco pouch left in a drawer of a pirate ship together with a bottle of Rum and some Cocoa Beans. Aharrrr !

Get in there!
Sounds a great recipe for any tobacco lover.
Might get a few flavours in on my next order and try this out? Haven't been a great fan of tobacco flavours but now and again I come across recipes like this that makes me want to give them a bash?
