Okay, So I've been through the experimental phase and come up with a few recipes that I like. So far I've been reusing old 50ml eliquid bottles but now I'd like to make larger batches. I'm reading varied opinions on suitable materials for storing eliquid and wanted an opinion before I make a purchase.

This seems perfect to me:

250ml amber glass, perfect for the batch size I want to make.
Wide enough to get a syringe or pipette in for filling.

The only thing I'm unclear on is whether the materials used for the lid are eliquid appropriate.

Any thoughts or other recommendations?

If you store them upright I wouldn't think it would be an issue, personally. If not, I would ask them what the material is and decide from there. Maybe they can tell you if it would leach into pg/vg. Either way, I think your liquid will store better in such large volumes if you don't add all the concentrate at once - add the concentrate one bottle at a time. Depends how quickly you go through juice I suppose.

Good question. Hadn't considered the lid before now. I use these to store (freeze) VG nicotine. The lid area is much smaller so that should reduce the surface area in contact with the liquid. I pulled out one of the inserts in the lids I use. It feels like a thin, dense foam with a tough, shiny surface. The site says "This cap comes with a polycone sealer which is suitable for use with essential oils and fragrance oils as well as many other types of liquid." Looking up "Polycone" as I write this, it appears to be LDPE, so that should be fine.

Thanks guys, I think I've managed enough research to verify they should be safe. I'll place my order now and hopefully find myself making batches a lot less frequently.
