Just a single coil here, 15 wraps of 0.3 kanthal around a length of 0.3 kanthal. Coming out at 0.5ohms and boy does it perform!

*excuse the non matching brass on the Nem, I rarely use it in 18650 mode so the extension tube has not patina'd the same as the main.

Dual coiling is a job for Raguri I feel. my batteries wont go that low safely

I saw rip trippers on YouTube the otherday showing this off. Im having no look getting decent wrapps around the kanthal ill stick with it and I'm sure ill get there in the end. Photos look fantastic mate well done I know how tricky this coil is

Yeah, getting the wraps neat and tight is a bit fiddly and by eck does it deliver a throat hit too. I might have to half my nic

ive yet to try this , but could you use a thin pin,as its a bit stiffer than the kanthal?? (poke the sharp point in a piece of cork)

well ive just knocked a dual coil .32 kanthal(unflammed) around a sowing needle,watch the point ouch!!! .did abt 16 coils on each coil ,came out on abt .6ohms.
This is in my Omega dripper.Now i know that the holes would be blocked by the wick n coil at the two large airholes,but instead i placed them at the other end of the mounting screws',ie back to front on how it should be done,this is so the air flow would work.
The end result is a spitting, nasty, violent coil set up.... needs a tweek here n there,maybe even on a VW mod,but none of mine will work at .6ohms lol ...

Looks good mate. I tried this for the first time as well on an IGO L. 0.8ohm using 10 wraps of .25mm on a .34mm wire.

Its violent and hits like tits! Or is it sick as tits?!? ;-)

I'm having great results wrapping around those tiny allen keys that come with drippers

Are the wicks going through the coil or does it just sit under it?

make the coil/s, then lay some cotton under them ,then gently push the coil into it...not too much tho
