Supermarket Check-In is a social app which allows people to check their local supermarket queue information and stock levels, submitted by other users of the app, and then "check-in" themselves to share their own experience.

I just found this so don't know how good it is.
Had a quick look and was even smaller local shops listed. could be usefull.

Didn't know where to post this. Mods please move if there is a more appropiate forum section.

Sounds like a good idea in theory. I don't have a smart phone though.

Don't see the point myself if I need shopping then I would have to go anyway regardless of the size of the qué I have kids to feed but I'm sure it will come in handy for some [emoji4]

It'll be useful. I've been checking supermarkets as I cycle half out of curiosity and half to see when it's quieter. Yesterday tesco was absolutely mobbed huge queue of over 50 at least and sainsburies about 10 minute cycle away only had 10 people queuing up, both similar size shops. Most of the time they've been the same.

I don't know if this app will be better than google though. If you go on google maps and search out the shop it'll show you live how busy the shop is based on people who have GPS on I believe.
