was at Tmax last week and while trying out a few juices came across a mod that Simon had that felt nice and weighty in the hand, had a nice style shape and design, grest led display and just oozed quality.
didnt really think much about it at the time as i was concentrating on the juices, but now having had the smok xpro m80 plus for a couple of weeks and know full well its not perfect and could in theory die on me at any point due to the internal build quality decided to try and find out what this very nice mod was.
Turns out after a bit of research its the Yihi SX350 mini.
ok i thought so who sells one of these and how quick can i get one?

quick search and was .. oh crap look at the price of that thing!
so ok i thought. i wonder is there a clone of it out there... and my search so far seems to have come to a bit of a standstill.

sure alibaba list something but its rather vague and seems to be one of those bulk purchase things.
so does anyone know of a clone thats availble and if so anyone tried on or even better have one?

certainly looks like a chip to give the dna40 a run for its money

FT listed some Hotcig clones for pre order yesterday...and supposedly their chips are Yihi too!

I got tired waiting for FT and bought 2 clones from modsandatties.com for £80 a piece, but FTs are almost half that price if I remember correctly.
Edit*** sorry I just re read your post and see it's the Mini you are looking for, I don't think they've hit FT yet...

doesnt have to be the mini. just a reasonable priced sx350 clone.. didnt know there were any others apart from the mini.. all the better if its self contained batteries as well ( probably hopeing for to much ) but dual 18650's or even a larger single battery box mod.. was the actual display that really caught my attention.

Thought I would join the thread as i need to get my post count up! both are nice mods.

There are few flavours of the SX Zero clones around as falsemod said there a nice clone!

I modded one of mine with a Yihi SX350

call me a fussy git but im not a fan of the big round fire button style. as much as i like my box mods , billet box style for instane dont appeal. i find them to clunky looking and not greatly keen on the square style display. much prefer the sleeker lines of the Yihi.

still trying to work out how the soft, standard and powerful modes work though ( are they like 3 different preset temp settings i wonder ) . didnt see or notice a temp sensing mode in the sx350 , so wondering if i may be better looking at dna40 though cant afford an original and not sure how well a clone stands up.
the vapor flask clone looks very very appealing

SX mini -m series is a new mod out this month. It's going to have yihi's brand spanking new temp chip in it. Will look the same as the original SX mini, but will cost a bit more, but with temp control! They can't do much worse than evolv's move into temp control...can they?!!

Soft, standard and powerful are actually very simple but do make a noticeable difference. In standard mode, it'll fire at whatever voltage its set for. Soft means it will fire .2 volts below the set voltage for 2 seconds. Powerful mode will fire .2 volts above the set voltage for 2 seconds. :)

Love the quality .3mm throw 12/16mm fire buttons but each to there own! Vapers are almost the most opinionated group of people I have ever known I never met anyone so opinionated about fags when I smoked!

But seriously not having a go at you just saying it makes me laugh!

The YiHi mini is nice I just sold one yesterday ;) (I had 3) feels great in the hand I hated the ZNA, more hyped american mods ;) the one mini I have left to keep but design flaws even with the revised 510 (which 510 pin is to wide to be useful and not prevent hard shorts with some atties) machining issues of the case, the fire button is pretty crap and is actually sprung by foam so will collapse if used a lot ;) some of the internal soldering is not great, the switch and board mount steel screws are screwed into the ALU chassis and will strip just looking at them. The original 510 is OK but a bit of a Chinese Fisher Price for a self adjuster.

I am not here to rain on the mods people own just pointing out I never seen a perfect mod and I have bought and sold over 50 in the 11 months I have been into box mods. So I have a bit of an idea I am an ex engineer so it all about build quality and reliability over aesthetics, but its nice to own something with a personality might not be your style but something I like.

Don't even get me started on evolv my own DNA 40 stats are 10 boards&mods 7 failed/flakey/broke when the wind was blowing in wrong direction.;)

Every 40 board revision has problems yes your number may of come up and you get a good one but evolv released a flakey product, revised it, revised, revised I would shoot brandon and all the beta testers :-P its been by far less reliable than all the Chinese crap boards put together.

In a moment of madness I bought a Hcigar HB DNA 40 yesterday to have a look why I have no idea with its dodgy re-wiring at least it has a real evolv 40 (what a joke;) the 3 clone DNA 40s have all been far more reliable and less glitchy than genuine evolv 40s.

Some of the VF 40s are great fit a decent self adjuster and you are good to go although more vaping opinion (not mine) says VaporShark, Hana and VF are all wrong for using sprung self adjusters.;)
All views expressed here are from my own direct experience doesn't mean there right or wrong;)
