Hi to answer your question... yes they had the sense to include the option to completely seal the alternate airflow this time round.. so its atually sealed off even without the single coil reducer in place.
The deck is very similar but has more space so that you can use a clapton type coil this time around without it touching the cap also max airflow has increased slightly.
Flavour is very good and I love the 'split' airflow system gives a very concentrated vape similar to Concorde in single coil.
My biggest gripe is that the cap has a system whereby you twist it into place to perfectly align the airflow, some find this helpful however I find it annoying as if i want to check coils on the move its a pain to get the cap back on without adjusting the airflow ring by mistake.
My 510 adaptor and chuff cap from old armor 1.0 fit perfectly too... in fact the chuff cap looks amazing on it.
