Just got my Hcigar Taifun GT today and set it up with a mesh wick and 1.0 ohm coil.
Not getting any leaks with our without a piece of silica on top of coil.

My only issue is the draw is quite tight.
Now I have an extra tube in the spares bag but can't tell if it's wider than the one installed.
I have also seen in several videos that some people remove the tube and the bush completely which gives a nice airy draw.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get more airflow through the taifun?

I have a Hcigar Taifun and had all kinds of drama with the airflow ..... PITA

Try removing the air tube first, if you still find the draw too tight, then remove the white insulator tube as well

That is how I run mine.

A few people here (myself included) had big probs with the airflow. It's a fault with this model. Easily fixed though!
Remove the airtube and the plastic sleeve/bush thing. You'll probably notice the end of the sleeve is rough and burred. Snip a few mil off with some nail clippers. Bung it back in and bob's your uncle! The plastic sleeve is just a tiny bit too long and has been pushed in too far, causing air to be constricted.

Ahh thanks, I'll have a go later at trying to remove it without destroying it lol

As has been said they aren't the best for airflow. That and the amount of wasted space in this attie are the two things that annoy me about it.

sometimes the air flow hole on the outside isnt lined up well with the underneath of the internal channel the deck comes apart though and you can turn and reseat it

Thanks pauly.
Just trimmed the sleeve and the airflow is much better :-) Still a little tight but more than acceptable.

Now do I see if I can trade my kfl+ clone for another heh

I find the airflow on the FT Taifun clone a lot better BUT .....

... the pos/neg posts can fall out when you unscrew to install a coil

I think that seems to be a common fault for some reason. Doesn't seem to stop it working fine though.
