Taking vape on holidays?

Hi,
I've have previously been using dtl rta's which go through juice and batteries so fast that I haven't bothered with all the hassle of bringing batteries, chargers, extra bottles of juice etc on holiday and have just relied on disposables.
Now I'm using a mtl tank and I'm happy that a 100ml bottle will last me a week so I'm planning on taking it with me, I have a couple of questions...

1.Do you have to empty the tank before you fly? I have the ability to close off the juice port but will there still be the possibility of leaking?
2. Do you take a charger, spare batteries etc with you or just rely on the type c charge port on your device?
3. Is there anything else I need to consider, I'm happy to just use disposables if it's too much trouble to take my vape with me?

Thanks

Firstly check the law and rules of the country you are travening too and also check the airline rules as some i believe have banned vapes but the laws are changing all the time.
its been ove 7 years since ive been on a plane but yes tanks and even bottles can leak.
for the bottle i place some selophane ove the top then screw it tight and then also put them in a sealable plastic bag.
tanks i empty as the pressure will make them leak. i took 5 mods with me as well as usb charger but this takes hours to charge and spare batteries but make sure they are in sealable battery boxes. and all should go in hand carry on luggage.

Question 1, I always empty any tank as I found they just piss themselves.

2. Yes just take a charger as most USB ports on a mod ain't for charging it's for updating said mod.

3,as you are probably aware dispos are been banned soon, eather than using them try pods they have come on a long way, I use to be a 21700 mod user with mesh strips at 50w.

I know mostly use pods ,like the vaporesso luxe with a dtl pod cracking vape or the Dotmod dotpod again great vape for either dtl or mtl & both devices the coils last me at a month.

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to the canaries with jet 2, only rules I can see is batteries in the hand luggage and no bigger than a 100ml bottle for airport security
I hadn't considered bottles leaking so I'll take that into account

Good call on a pod system as that would probably be cheaper than buying enough disposables to last a week!

the bottles will no leak if the lids are screwed on, but devices always leak on a plane. the only way to avoid this is to make sure they are always upside down. in which case they will not leak :)

I usually take 2x 30ml bottles of juice with me,one in each sealable bag in hand luggage.1 pod device in my pocket and another in a vape carry case inside my hand luggage, they will always give you another sealable bag if they think yours is not suitable enough.

Thanks for the help, just need to pick a pod device now!

the last few times i’ve been away i’ve just taken two of these.

the battery lasts me more than a day and it charges in less than an hour. 5ml pods, i use tiny RBAs in them but the stock coils are good, varied pods and coils for different styles and they never leak.
