Just finished my DNA 30 mod after a month wait for the DNA board to come back from the USA to have the screen replaced after I cracked it
Got back this morning so thought might aswell get it done otherwise would of just sat there
It used one 18650 battery with charging board ImageUploadedByPlanet of the Vapes1398369730.757612.jpgImageUploadedByPlanet of the Vapes1398369742.203053.jpgImageUploadedByPlanet of the Vapes1398369755.786245.jpgImageUploadedByPlanet of the Vapes1398369774.658144.jpg

You know when you've been tango'd or more accurately, wow that's orange! Nice job mate, I've just got my ft 510 connectors arrived today, so going to have a go at a Hammond enclosure device over the weekend.

Looks great. Was this a plain Hammond case you painted? If so what paint did you use?

Looks great. But here's an idea, maybe a stupid one, for any such device: having an inner cover to cover wires etc, so that when first opened up, only the battery was exposed. Idk, just a thought. I've only built mechs and often leave all guts exposed so... Just a thought. It would make the cover more just a battery cover instead of an "everything inside" cover. Am I making any sense?
That orange is my jam. Nice work.

Just one other question mk73
Can I ask where you got the small black surround / bezel for the display.
I've been looking around for those as I think they finish these off really neatly.
TIA

Until mk73 gives the definitive answer, it looks like one of the powder coated enclosures produced by Hammond themselves. I think they do about 5 or 6 colours for many of their enclosures.
I think a cheaper way to get a similar finish would be to grab a can of spray paint used for car repairs.
