I've been happily puffing away on this today, so thought now is the time to give my opinion!

The Big Dripper is one of the first RDTA's that actually work. There are a few reviews floating around but unfortunately the first round of 'official' production was very limited, and very few people got the

chance to own this beast. But the first wave of clones are starting to do the rounds now, and they seem to be spot on for quality...IMO this is one product where clones are fully justified, as there are so

few genuine around. PLUS... due to the circumstances of the inventor/owner, i'm not sure how long it will take until they produce more.... if they do....and it would be a shame to deprive the community of

this amazing design!

The atty:

Its designed by Sub Ohm Innovations....the owner wears a cool top hat in his presentation video of this product, and was arrested on some form of terrorism charges a short while after this was released :D :D :D. :umm:

It has a full ss body (no logos)

3 posts with pretty large holes (3mm IIRC)

Great adjustable airflow

No leaks!

Most importantly....a amazing 'top fed squonking' system.

After spending a bit of time with this atty....I have to say its great, the juice squirting system works flawlessly....has a great feel to the pump....doesn't leak....just works.

The deck is easy to work with, and the TINY chamber gives great flavour.

The only potential negative to this product is IMO the deck could cause some people problems due to the raised lip around the build area. I found it pretty simple to just push the coils in front of the airflow

after installation, but I can see some people not enjoying this minor part of the build. This is easily made up for by the chamber design /large post holes / allen bolts that hold everything down nicely!

My verdict......

It takes a while to get used to 'how much to squonk' but this definitely provides the holy grail of RDA build/flavour with the practicality of a tank.

I'm blown away by how good this is....TRY IT!

(there is also 'the pontus' (now v1.5) about with a glass tank and similar function, also worth a look if put off by not being able to see your juice level....but I really cant see how it can compare with the simplicity and function of this bad boy)

My bad, should have mentioned that bit.....however....i'd probably go with elegant vapours if I were you, as its cheaper than I paid!

I grabbed mine at modsandatties, as they were the first to stock it....came super fast but cost a few £ extra! Guess that's the price you pay to be impatient.

Note: angelfire said they will be receiving stock soon!

Small update for anyone who purchases this...

After using it now for a few days continuously....I recommend after filling, invert the top cap/tank and give it a single pump. This seems to help with the vaccum or whatever keeps the juice in place. I noticed a VERY small dribble on inspection when I removed the cap and had a look this morning. Doing this pump stops any unwanted liquid leaving the tank.

Isn't really a problem unless you were to leave your tank unused for a long period of time. But is probably worth a mention :D

Other than that....happy RDA style vaping so far!

edit. I realized I have caused this problem myself....when filling the drip tip 'pump section' should be depressed....and it will release after you have screwed in the tank.
This happened after I gave it a fill without doing so, I just unscrewed the tank and snuck a bottle tip in the gap....so the manual pumping would have been required.

Guess giving it a quick inverted pumping in general anyway wont hurt (just in case) though :P
