This review is for a product that has either been purchased by myself or sent to me free of charge by the vendor named below for the purpose of review and the opinion expressed here is my own and not necessarily that of Planet Of The Vapes.
www.manabush.com
Nokomis, Ixcacao, Coyote Coconut, Powwow Sauce & Chiricahau Sun
Nicotine MG - 18
Mix PG / VG - 50 / 50
Device used - Immortalizer dripper on a Dingo & Vamo
Having tried the complete range of Manabush juices and reviewed most of them separately I thought I’d do a review / comparison of them all in one place.
The first thing to note is that they all have the same underlying flavour which is sublime – a creamy sweet mix with undertones of dark tobacco and nutty biscuit. Any one of them could easily be my all day vape and if the mixer of these were a DJ, he’d by DJ Tiesto as ‘Mr Manabush’ can mix like no other. I’ve NEVER tried a range of juice where I could easily vape every one with ease, until now.
I liken these juices to a nice pudding, most of us like a pudding after dinner but some will prefer a chocolate pudding, some will prefer coconut, some will like their pudding to taste of vanilla and some will like nuts sprinkled on top, but we all like pudding. Well Nokomis is the base pudding and all the others in the range are variants of it. All five have the same perfect base mix with subtle, yet mind blowing differences.
Nokomis appears to be the basis of these flavours, which as described above is a creamy, sweet, dark tobacco flavour with a gorgeous nutty, biscuit background and could easily be an all day vape on its own.
Ixcacao appears to use the same mix as above with a lovely natural tasting ‘chocolate’ added to it which tastes so good you’ll want to eat it. I am partial to vaping a bit of chocolate here and there but can go off chocolate quite quickly but this is something special and using the Nokomis as a base for this means that I don’t think I’d ever get bored of it.
Coyote Coconut again appears to use the Nokomis base with a subtle background of coconut which at first reminded me ever so slightly of the legendary Boba’s Bounty only in my opinion much, much better. It’s not an ‘in your face’ coconut, simply a lovely background flavour which seems to linger on the pallet. This one isn’t quite as ‘nutty’ as the other ones so I’m guessing a little of the nut has been removed to make way for the coconut.
Powwow Sauce has remained my number one favourite juice in the range since the day I tried it and unlike other juices I just can’t seem to get bored with it or over do it. It’s basically Nokomis with a vanilla edge to it. A ‘posh’ vanilla custard if you like and it’s quite simply got to be tried to be believed. Honestly, everyone I know that’s tried it has all had that ‘now that’s what I’m talking about’ face.
Chiricahau Sun is yet to go on public sale and I almost wish I hadn’t tried it as I’m ashamed to say that this may well be better than Powwow Sauce and I honestly thought that was perfect. Again, it seems to have the Nokomis base but instead of adding chocolate, coconut or vanilla – there seems to be an extra ‘nutty’ flavour to it. I mean, this stuff is good, REALLY GOOD. I don’t know what I’m going to do when the sample runs out and I really hope that I haven’t got the same passion for it then, as I do now. It’s that good.
It’s a bit like me taking my fat oversized bulk of a body into town and instead of pulling a minger I’m having Holly Willoubooby (Powwow Sauce) hitting on me and after living with her for six months I get Kelly Brook (Chiricahau Sun) begging me to stay the weekend at her house. OMFG it’s like I’ve hit the lottery with Holly and now I’ve won the Euro Millions with Kelly…..what do I do, only time will tell but for now I’ll simply have them both and count my blessings !!
Flavour - So to sum things up you’ve got the perfect juice in Nokomis but what would you like to add – chocolate, coconut, vanilla or extra nutty goodness. Although for flavour testing I honestly don’t think you can beat an Immortalizer I did pop it on my Vamo and at different watts you really can play around with the flavour quite a bit, but I think it’s best not to overcook it.
Throat Hit - I have Manabush in most of my devices now and as stated on the vendors website I do find them best on a silica build and at around 1.6 ohms. I use my standard build of two strands of 3mm silica wrapped with .20 Kanthal and on my Kayfuns they are perfect but on an Immortalizer they really are something very, very special. Every one of these is on par with each other. A decent throat hit that pretty much matches the ‘par’. In 18mg which is how I like it, it’s perfect.
Vapour - Well it does have a 50% VG mix so it should and does perform well. The clouds are those satisfying white plumes with a smell that seems to linger on forever. Every one of these juices is similar and granted you’d expect plumes in an Immo but I even have a bit of Powwow in an iclear 30 and there’s still bags of vapour.
I have tried REALLY hard to make this review as balanced as possible and come up with something constructive to say to even things out but I simply cannot think of anyway to improve these juices. I’d prefer it if the bottle tip was more like the ‘pointy’ ones rather than the slightly rounder tip to make it easier to fill my devices so instead of giving these 110%, I’ll just give them 109.9% instead – they really are this good. Get on them, they are all amazing.
All the best and thanks for reading,
