He does go on about other things at the beginning and a competition at the end but with the popularity of this device (I bought one for the OH and she loves it) it was worth posting a different take on it. Seems it suffers from Zmax syndrome...something I and ZT remember well

Meh ... I never did get my money back on that piece of crap, and Ive never forgiven the company either

can i ask you to elaborate on this please? google gave me some interesting results, but not quite what i was after.

pete.....its spelt A-L-U-M-I-N-'I'-U-M....Theres another 'I' in it



and the zmax mark and ZT alude to is the 'mean' in which the power is used.....whereas most if not all now use rms to output its power....this is why the eleaf seemingly puts out more power than indicated

just watched the review, suspect i shouldn't go googling for a "soddering iron"

i was thinking of getting an istick, not so sure now.

Tbh it's still a great little device and as I said my OH loves it. Just trust the shown output less and the taste or harshness more and dial it down if necessary.
