This is my opinion, I paid just over a fiver for it, it was new and POTV in no way support the statements I am about to make. If you have a problem with these comments FastTech then feel free to contact me at [email protected] - but they're the same comments I've made on the FT website

I'm not going to beat around the bush - it's shit.

Don't buy it.

Watch the Roadhoguk review of the The Innokin iClear 30. Everything Andy says about the miser is obviously true - and none of it applies to the little metal thing in a box I received in my vapemail this morning.

The problem starts with the airflow and this is what marks it out as a clone. The draw is very tight and unless being a Vapourmist endows you with lung power to suck the chrome plating from a brass mod it is obvious the genuine article has a decent draw to it. My box labeling is different to Andy's too, the underside has none of the detail you can see when he holds his to camera.

As a result:
  • Flavour - there is none
  • Vape - precious little
  • Heat - because you are sucking like a porn actress in a gang bang to obtain pleasure the two top coils heat up the mouthpiece quicker than I get aroused at the mere mention of words "Anna" and "Friel".
  • Capacity - claimed at 3ml but anything over the height of the bottom of the bottom coil floods it so, in practise it's much more like a pointless 1.5ml...especially when you consider you can get a genuine iClear16 from the UK for half the price of this.
  • Mouthpiece - constructed so that if you angle it then the airflow is restricted even further. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

I'm not upset, I'm happy to accept that when you're buying from FT some of the things will be hits and some will be misses. Thus far I've had many more of the former and continue to use them to try cheap stuff out.

It does irk a bit that something they claim to be a branded product simply isn't...it's like reading my CV at a job interview, total fiction.

I've spent the day tinkering with it off and on, trying different juices, different mods and different settings. I didn't bother changing the coil because the problem stems from the diameter of the hole in the post restricting air from getting to the coil in sufficient quantity.

It's now being washed out so I can give it to BfcDanny so he can add his impressions of it. If, when he's read this, he doesn't want it I'll happily save the 2 o-rings and the box and pop everything else in the bin.

Out of ten: 1 (for the box because I can store things in it)

I'm curiously aroused.

As I just said to Dan, I forgot to point out that it would make a brilliant paperweight if you filled it with cement..

Having traveled across the world it now makes its toughest journey - to Blackpool, where it will feature as a tourist attraction in Dan's house to rival that of the Blackpool Tower and late night drunken fights between slags on the Pleasure Beach.

Nice review. :)

When it comes to fasttech I just expect everything to be a clone and then that way everything else is a bonus.

I tried to reseat the coils this morning to see if that impeded the airflow. Nothing doing.

damn. Got one of these on the way :( and I did so on the basis of a ton of good reviews on the site. How can those reviews all be in contrast to the truth. But I take your word for it.

try this have the same prob with original iclear 16,to much air and suck for lovelace but no pleasure lol get an old atomiser rubber remove the metal piece from the dual coil part and then sleeve with other condom top with metal piece closes the gap makes perfect seal

Dem clones, dem clones, dem

There are a lot, huh. And everything I've been told about them is highly positive...but, and I think this is distinctly possible, I reckon they source from more than one supplier and more than one manufacturer. Although I have it on authority from more than one UK vendor that the bulk if not all stock supplied to FT consists of seconds...but then they would say that wouldn't they?! ;)

Take their Evods: there are versions with long inner tubes and ones with short tubes. They sell versions with tall posts on the head and ones with short posts on the head. Then there are ones with two air holes, three air holes on the piss and ones with three air holes bang on. In fact the only thing you will not find on one of their Evods will be the Kangertech logo (although I think Kanger no longer have that on the OEM ones either).

In short, FastTech can sell some right gash as well as nice cheap stuff.
