a friend had a copy of the guardian the other day and it had an excerpt from this book in it, its basically a book which describes what flavours work well together and why, i only just grabbed it so im not sure how much use it will be but i thought id post in case anyone else was interested. heres the amazon link:

mainly aimed at chefs... But it has a massive a-z of flavour matches... I used it today for some mixing... Waiting to try the results though
