You said that smarter people than you don't rate testing batteries under load to get the voltage drop which is the (to me)the only meaningful method. If I simply measured the voltage off the battery and then shoved the battery in a mod and tested the output again (with no atty) all that would prove is that the mod WAS connected to the battery,my Kylin gets a hot button when there is any resistance build-up in the joints and the atty is attached, but with no atty attached the button doesn't get hot yet the voltmeter says no drop. The measurement is meaningless to anyone else as they haven't got my battery /atty/coil but does give a hint to others for comparisons of prospective purchasers of a similar mod.
