I might be the odd one out here, but I can't see the point, I bought the mini for that reason mini. I have a telescopic mod and I could take someones eye with it lol

I understand what you are saying, to me it serves two purposes. One is the SS look which i like and if you are on a budget and can't buy 2-3 provaris () you can buy the mini but still have the option to use all of your available batteries.

I have the standard but I use it in 18650 mode all the time, mostly because I dont have enough smaller batteries and I cant be assed changing them all the time, if I had the mini, one of these would be ideal!
